The Double Edged Sword

The Word is called a "double-edged sword" in Hebrews. The significance of a double edged sword is that if you aren't careful, you will cut yourself while wielding it. It's important to understand when we apply the Word to our circumstances to judge someone else, we have to allow the Word to judge us, as well.

And the great thing about allowing God to be our judge is He is full of mercy, grace, and forgiveness. He loves to redeem us.
